Cryptograms

Substitution puzzles built from famous quotes. Each letter is swapped for another; solvers work backward from letter frequency and hints. Difficulty controls how many letters start revealed.

Cryptogram wizard with corpus (quotes source), difficulty, count, and trim.
Pick a quote corpus and a hint level — that's it.

Options

  • Corpus — pick a quote source (Shakespeare, movie lines, motivational, historical figures, etc.). One corpus per book.
  • Difficulty — Easy (~30% of letters revealed as hints), Medium (~15%), Hard (no hints — solve purely from frequency).
  • Count, trim, naming, and font match the other puzzle generators.
  • Solutions per page — 1 or 4.

Corpus needs enough quotes

If your requested count exceeds what the corpus holds, the wizard blocks generation. Pick a bigger corpus (or fewer puzzles).
