Getting started
Tokens & billing
ColorCraft uses a token pool instead of per-generation pricing. Everything in the app — a coloring page, a storybook illustration, a puzzle, a cover — spends a small number of tokens from your monthly allowance.
What one token buys
| Action | Token cost |
|---|---|
| Coloring page | 1 |
| Puzzle (any type) | 1 |
| Storybook illustration | 2 |
| Cover front generation | 2 |
| 3D book mockup | 2 |
Re-running a cover with the exact same theme, title, and author hits the cache and is free. Only new prompts spend tokens.
Plans
Every plan grants a monthly token allowance, rolls unused tokens over up to a cap, and unlocks every feature (Paige, cover generator, mockups, storybooks, puzzles). Plans only differ by volume.
| Plan | Tokens / month | Rollover cap | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 100 | 200 | $14 |
| Creator | 320 | 640 | $32 |
| Professional | 700 | 1,400 | $59 |
| Studio | 1,500 | 3,000 | $119 |
Annual billing knocks about 17% off (roughly two months free). See pricing for the full comparison.
How the trial works
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial. During the trial you can generate a complete coloring book — up to 24 pages — before any charge is made. You can cancel any time before day 7 with no cost. If you don’t cancel, the plan you selected starts and you get your full monthly token pool.
Rollover and renewal
- Your token pool refills on your subscription anniversary— the same day of the month you first subscribed. The billing page shows your next renewal date.
- Unused tokens roll over up to 2× your monthly allowance. Beyond that, extra tokens are dropped — save them by generating.
- Change plans any time from the billing page.
Running out of tokens
If your balance drops below what a generation costs, the app shows a “Get more tokens” modal. From there you can either upgrade your plan or wait for the next monthly refill.
