Account
Subscription & plans
Everything about managing your plan — trial, upgrade, downgrade, cancel, invoices — lives on the billing page. This doc explains what each control does and where the buttons lead.

The trial
Every new account starts on a 7-day free trial with enough tokens to make a full coloring book. During the trial you see the same feature set as a paid plan — nothing is gated. Cancel before day 7 and you’re never charged.
- Upgrade now — skip the wait and start the paid billing cycle immediately (unused trial days aren’t lost; the plan just starts sooner).
- Manage — opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel the trial or swap the card on file.
Change plans
Click Manage subscription on the billing page — that takes you to the Stripe portal. From there:
- Upgrade — takes effect immediately, prorated against your remaining month. Your token pool tops up to the new plan.
- Downgrade — takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep the higher allowance until then.
- Switch monthly ↔ annual — annual is ~17% cheaper (roughly two months free).
Cancel and reactivate
Cancel via the same Manage subscription button. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period — you keep every feature and your remaining token pool until then, no cliff. Reactivating before that date restores your plan without a gap.
Your projects don’t go anywhere
Invoices and receipts
Every charge shows up in the Transaction history table on the billing page. Each row has a Receipt link that opens the Stripe-hosted PDF — the same document you’d get emailed. Older invoices live in the Stripe portal under “Invoice history.”
Refunds and disputes
If something went wrong — a failed generation you were charged for, a double bill, an accidental annual renewal — email hello@colorcraft.ai with the transaction date. We refund cheerfully in genuinely-broken cases; for buyer’s-remorse cases we’ll usually issue tokens instead.
