What is ColorCraft

ColorCraft is an AI book-creation tool for Amazon KDP self-publishers. It makes the interior pages, the cover and the listing text for coloring books, illustrated children’s storybooks and puzzle books, all sized for KDP.

Self-publishers who want KDP-ready books without hiring an illustrator or a designer, and without fighting general-purpose AI tools that don’t know about bleed, trim sizes or spines.

What’s inside

  • Paige, the book assistant. Describe a coloring book and Paige writes a prompt for every page, then draws them all. For storybooks, Paige writes the story and illustrates it. Find it under Book Generation in the left rail.
  • Puzzle books: sudoku, mazes, word searches, crosswords and cryptograms, each with a solutions section.
  • The editor, where you check every page, redraw the ones you don’t like, reorder them and download the PDF.
  • KDP tools: a full cover wrap (front, spine and back), lifestyle mockups for your Amazon, Etsy or Pinterest images, and a ready-to-paste KDP description with keywords. Each has its own spot in the left rail: Covers, Mockups and Listings.
  • My Characters, for characters you reuse from book to book, and Library, which holds every page you’ve ever made.

How you pay for it

Your plan gives you a balance of pages, and making things uses them.

  • Coloring page: 1 page. Storybook page: 1 page. Puzzle: 1 page.
  • New front cover: 2 pages. Mockup: 2 pages.
  • Free: writing prompts, niche ideas, the KDP listing text and downloading your PDFs.

New accounts can start a 7-day free trial with 40 pages to spend. You add a card to start it, and nothing is charged unless you keep your plan past day 7. Plans start at $9/month and refill your pages every month. Trial downloads are watermarked previews. The print-ready file comes with your plan, or unlock one book for $24.

How a book gets made

    Sign up and start the trial

    Create your account, then click Start your free trial · $0 today and add your card.

  2. 2

    Make the interior

    In the left rail, open Book Generation and pick the kind of book, for example Coloring Books. Paige drafts the pages, you review them, and Paige draws them. Each coloring page uses 1 page from your balance.

  3. 3

    Polish it in the editor

    Open the finished book from your dashboard. Redraw any page that isn’t right (each redraw uses 1 page).

  4. 4

    Add the cover, mockups and listing

    Use Cover, Mockups and Listing in the editor’s top bar. A new front cover uses 2 pages, a mockup 2, and the listing text is free.

  5. 5

    Download and upload to KDP

    Click Export PDF in the editor, then upload the file to KDP. The guide that opens after the download lists the KDP settings to use.
